DANCE FLOOR SIZING GUIDE

Standard dance floors come in 3-ft x 3-ft (9 square foot) wood panels that can be parquet (standard or tournament finish) or painted to meet your needs. Our custom "ice" panel floors come in 4' x 4' (16 square foot) panels that have a special highly reflective metallic layer below a protective coating. All dance floor panels are designed to interlock together to form a complete floor.

Below is the recommended dance floor sizes for the number of guests attending. For larger floors, a minimum 2-1/2 square feet per person is recommended and can be calculated using the following formula: Length x Width = Square Feet Divided by 2.5 = Persons.

UNDERLAYMENT: We HIGHLY recommend underlayment when a dance floor is placed on an uneven surface (like grass). If placed on carpeting, a concrete or wood floor or even pavement, underlayment usually is not needed. We realize few others offer this, however, why have an bumpy dance floor distract from your event?
